In my case, when I was a student and had no income while my husband had, I applied for my parents' visitor visa and failed. After I got a job and had my own income, I applied again and this time they got the visitor visas. Now I am sponsoring their immigration.
According to my and many others' experience, it will be hard if you don't have income. But if your husband has a decent job and handsome income for quite some time, then your chance may be greater.
You may explain that you have no job because you have to take care your little kid(s), you have to go to school for education, blablabla. But don't say you stay at home because you can't find a job.
