It is difficult to find the right words to express my gratitude to you. I have only been your patient for two months, yet my quality of life have improved dramatically.
I have endured bowel problems for more than five years. The problem intensified 6 months ago, and the severe intestinal cramps and diarrhea became too much for me to bear. I was uncomfortable leaving my house and resorted to wearing diapers(diapers! I'm only 31 years old!) Because I never knew when an attack would hit. I saw numerous doctors, including gastro-intestinal specialists, who were unable to find a cause or a cure. I was when referred to a dietician who gave me an incredibly bland diet to follow - and I followed it to the letter - only to be met with more and more pain. I became afraid of food, of eating and stopped driving altogether. A bathroom always had to be close at hand, which meant I had to stop participating in many of my favorite activities. I became discouraged and despondent, and lost all enjoyment of life.
I was given your name and nmber from one of my medical doctors who suggested that perhaps you could find the cause of my discomfort. This was my last hope.
You were very kind to me at first appointment. You listened to my story very patiently and explained your diagnosis in a way that made sense. You were able to tell me things about my body and my life without ever having met me. You understood my fear of needles and guided me gently through the treatments. I am never rushed during our appointment, and you give my husband and I the feeling that you genuinely care about my well being.
Most importantly, however, I am feeling 100% better. My bowels are returning to normal, the cramping has gone and I can eat all of my favorite foods again. My energy level has increased, and I can leave the house comfortably. I have started exercising, and I am looking forward to summer filled with hiking, biking and traveling.
I am so grateful to you for helping me. My husband is thrilled that our life is returning to normal, and my parents are so happy that their daughter is feeling well again.
