请教EI的问题

老板给我说拜拜了，到4月29号。这是我的第一份工作，赶了16个星期，我上网看见好像第一份工作要干满半年才行。请教一下能拿到EI吗？

He should give you the "Record of Employment" paper. It is a
formal Government form, stating your employment hours, period and EI insuanable hours. Keep this paper in a safe place because you may need it to apply EI in the future.

If you are the first-time employer in Canada, you need at least 900 hours to get EI.
