Steam over Fukushimaas sign of catastrophe: 89 tons of deadly radioactive fuel could reach US in 2days

Unexplained plumes ofradioactive steam have been rising from Fukushima's Reactor Building 3. TEPCOhas confirmed the reports, adding that they were not clear on the details ofthe sudden change at the reactor because of "lethal radiation levels inthat building." Meanwhile some experts think that "the situationcould escalate rapidly out of control."

Unexplained plumes ofradioactive steam have been rising from Fukushima's Reactor Building 3. TEPCOhas confirmed the reports, adding that they were not clear on the details ofthe sudden change at the reactor because of "lethal radiation levels inthat building."

福岛核电站3号堆突然喷出未知核蒸汽。东电已确认了此事，但表示他们也不清楚到底发生了什么，因为“建筑内的辐射程度已经达到了致死标准”。
福岛3号堆在2011年3月13日就曾爆炸过一次，当时从建筑的烟道管内喷出了巨量的辐射烟气。核电站本身则在聚变中被烧熔了。
And now fresh plumesof steam have been seen coming out the structure. These have now been confirmedby TEPCO, the owner of the nuclear plant, from 19th December onwards. Thecompany believes the steam is coming from the fifth floor of the building.
现在这个反应堆又开始往外喷蒸汽了。核电站的所有者东电已确认了此事。东电公司认为，蒸汽应该是从建筑的第五楼冒出的。
However it does notknow the cause of the steam. Lethal levels of radiation and the physical damageto the structure have so far made entry and inspection impossible.

不过，蒸汽的成因却是无人知晓。由于核辐射程度已经达到了致人死命的水准，建筑结构也被严重破坏，进入核电站进行查看已经是不可能的事。
一些专家们认为，这是“废燃料池已达到融化的临界值”的征兆，一旦大祸酿成，89吨核燃料所化成的蒸汽将被喷到大气中，并飘向北美。
Educated guessessuggest that the steam is "coming from what’s left of the fifth floor ofthe mostly-destroyed building."
TEPCO has admittedthat "they do not know why this steam is being generated, butmatter-of-factly revealed today (December 28) the steam was first spotted onDecember 19 for a short period of time, then again on December 24 and again onDecember 25."
一些人根据这些迹象猜测，蒸汽来自“残破不堪的建筑的五楼”。

The accord is that"pellets of radioactive fuel, ejected when the reactor exploded, went intothe spent fuel pool located above the reactor and have begun melting down soseriously they are boiling off the water in the spent fuel pool."
目前的一种解释是：“在反应堆爆炸时，核燃料的碎块四散开来，打进了反应堆上方的废燃料池里，随后开始剧烈的溶解，热量将池内的水变成了蒸汽。”
Should this be thecase "the situation could escalate rapidly out of control."
TRN is warning ofpreparatory measures that should be taken by those living on the West Coast ofAmerica because after the "releasing 89 tons of deadly radioactive fueldirectly into the air", it would be a matter or 2 to 3 days before thedeadly material would fry North America "by [the] levels of airborneradiation and ‘hot particles’ which could kill."
现在的形势“可能会迅速恶化，失去控制”。

日本如果在本国民意支持下挣脱美国的约束，首先要感谢的就是习近平。是习近平给了日本人理由！

日本右翼势力利用钓鱼岛不断制造事端，胡，习以日本企图否定第二次世界大战的成果为出发点何错之有呢。难道非得像老毛和周恩来一样将钓鱼岛置于日本实际占领的位置不管了，钓鱼岛就这么不要了才是符合什么国际法理？

哈哈，你正气象盲。
图片显示，中国西北风吹向日本，把雾霾带去日本，西北风离开日本后到达太平洋转吹东北风，气象学叫coriolis effect，把污染物由日本海南部重新带回苏北、上海、浙江等地。
日本辐射污染，第一个死就是苏浙地区。
韩国人说苏北曾经是朝鲜土地，当年韩国人就是用东北季候风把他们带到山东苏北一带。
看来中国不敢把日本辐射污染物公开，会吓死你们。

你才是个气象盲。随便抓个天气预报，卫星云图，这云和风的走向永远是由西向东。有时有气旋转，会在局部地区小范围内云和风是由东向西。中国的雾霾肯定会吹向日本。但日本的污染能反向吹向中国的可能性很小。

老汉不提当年勇。现在更不好意思提当年拿那么高的学位。
你就简单的逻辑思维一下。季候风把日本的核污染吹向中国，首先日本自己早就完完了；他们可是天天笼罩在核污染中，就象中国天天笼罩在雾霾中一样。季候风不是天天吹吧。即使吹过来了，很快就又吹回日本了。这就是为什么很多报道说日本的核污染吹过太平洋，到达美国西海岸，而没听说吹到离日本那么近的韩国（中国咱就不提了，说共党封锁消息）
