Qualifications:
previous business analysis experience in technology/systems department
High level of competence in using various PC's and related software (including MS Word and Excel, Access, VBA for MS Access, AS400) Knowledge of relational database concepts and proficient in SQL
Portfolio Reconciliations & Valuations Analyst Responsibilities:
Reconciliations of mark-to-market positions against OTC derivative transaction counterparties daily portfolio reconciliations, identification and monitoring of portfolio or deal level disputes related with valuation and position differences, conduct quantitative analysis and generate frequent risk and operational reports to internal parties, price public securities in Bloomberg and verify the valuations of straight-forward derivative products,review the existing process.
Qualifications:
Strong spreadsheet, formulas and VBA skills to handle complex quantitative analysis; Knowledge about swaps & other derivative products and relevant valuation techniques; Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance with enrollment in CFA program preferred; Bloomberg terminal knowledge will be an asset.
Senior Programmer Analyst Responsibilities:
Assisting in the development and support of automated reporting/MIS solutions for the Bank's International locations and local Management using PC-based applications(e.g., Microsoft Access, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic,Cognos, SAS, Monarch, Oracle, SQL).
Qualifications:
Post-Secondary education in Computer Science (B.Sc., B.A., M.Sc.) preferred & a minimum of2 years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge of AS400 and PC operating systems. Expert knowledge and complete understanding of PC Client/Server technology, GUI applications and MIS software (i.e., SAS, Cognos, Visual Basic(VB), Lotus Domino, MS Access, Oracle, SQL, Monarch, and MS SharePoint), Web-based development experience an asset.
