Mandatory Skills
Proven experience working with IBM Pseries and Sp series hardware
Minimum 5 years experience with AIX version 4.x and 5.x
Expertise in WenSphere version 4.x and 5.x
Previous experience with UDB/DB2 7.x and 8.x
Excellent LAN/WAN network skills in a TCP/IP infrastructure
Desirable Skills
Experience designing, deploying and supporting IBM RS6000 hardware specifically IBM Pseries, IBM iseries, IBM SP nodes
Experience with IBM AIX 5.x, WebSphere 5.x, FileNet, DB2 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, Veritas 4.x, Lotus Domino 5.x, 6.x
Proxy and Firewall services
A good understanding of LAN/WAN networking technology
Knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and directions
Strong emphasis on SAN technologies
Excellent problem solving skills
