When you write Lao Yang would never lose hope, but it seems to me he has almost lost his hope after being robbed three times.
If you like to tell us/the readers that Lao Yang won't easily give up, you should hightlight his successful stories, like how he became a real estate agent? What has become of him? for example, how much money he can earn on average each year? What assets are now under his possessions? How?
and Lao Yang might be poor now? but you should write that he has all the talents to become successfull, or the opportunities are always there for him to become successful.
In you article, we don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for Lao Yang!
It seems to me Lao Yang is still a loser after a 10-year struggle. How many 10 years could each person have?

You are right. No one could afford another ten years on struggling, but what I would like to share with everyone is that, no matter how difficult your current situation is, and no matter what you have achieved, we are all standing behind the same line at this moment. What we need to do is focusing on ourselves, try to put your heart, your true believe, and your soul on yourself, on your future, and fight for whatever you should fight.
There are always stories belonging to other people, and we should appreciate what they've done on themselves to chase what they believe, and remind ourselves that never say no, and never give up on current challenge.
Hopefully we could all be appreciated by Lao Yang's hard work. The result is not important anymore, as far as he tried, and he's been achieved what he would like to achieve. By the way, I will say good luck for Lao Yang, on this year's target he set for himself on New Year. All best wishes.

老杨他如果不移民的话现在是不是有可能当上铁道部长，最差也是个高级公务员，住洋楼有秘书，碰个铁饭碗，不用住个木头房子了，成了个量地官。唉，折腾吧！
