I believe this story is true. This girle hates her mom and every natural person, if not idiot, would think she has understandable reason to hate her mom. If one unconditionally loves one's mom or one's home country, the one is no different to a dog. What I said here is contrary to what has been established in our minds, contrary to what we have been taught ever since we went to schools. The concept of loving one's mom or one's country is so deeply printed in our minds that we don't even think there would be any condition for the love.
What is the condition for us to love our moms or our home country? Do we have to love our moms simply because they gave birth to us, or love our home country simply because we grew up on that land? From the fact of this story, the answer is "no". |
