标题: Wasaga Beach is worth going
This 14-kilometre, safe sandy beach on Georgian Bay attracts thousands every summer. So do the park’s other features: hiking and cross-country ski trails through sand dunes or pine-oak forest; a historic site that tells Wasaga’s colourful naval history; jazz concerts and military re-enactments.

Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is the first provincial park in Canada awarded the Blue Flag designation for its efforts to manage Wasaga’s shoreline according to international environmental standards.

NO NO, go to Sauble beach, way better, just an hour longer drive. The half meter water wave, the best run set of ontario... and much less people than wassaga. Trust me, worth the extra hour drive.

Are you sure? I may try if you think it is better.

TORONTO
Central/West GTA (3 hours) :

From the 401, follow Hwy 10 North to Chatsworth.
Turn (right) onto Hwy 6 North, and continue on through Owen Sound to Hepworth.
In Hepworth (at the lights with the Tim Horton's and the UPI Gas Station) follow County Road 8 west right into Sauble Beach.

??????????? Just an hour longer drive fron Toronto?????? It's not correct. See the information below.

But it is also a very nice beach and worth going to see.

Sauble Beach boasts over 11 km's of sandy beach. It is a place for families, friends, uncles & aunts. Children love the shallow waters and the perfect "sandcastle creating" sand. Located just over a couple of hours from the metropolis of Toronto, Sauble Beach is the perfect place for a weekend getaway or a place for your summer holiday. Sauble Beach is also an easy drive from Windsor and the US, and Sauble Beach is FRIENDLY! Sauble Beach has amazing sunsets, and has had many marrage proposals made while the sun dissappears over Lake Huron.

I love Sauble Beach than Wasage Beach.

Wasage Beach is the bikers' paradise, so stay away from Wasage Beach Inn where the bikers drink and smoke pot.

Sauble Beach is about an hour drive further west from Wasage Beach, along highway 26 and off Owen Sound.  It is a family destination.

If you have done that far, you may consider going north one more hour to see Tobermory, the diving centre in Ontario.

Day trip can be difficult.  We are talking about 6 to 7 hours drive, so sleeping over for one night is more reasonable.
