Need feedback to improve spoken and written English. Talk English with Chinese friends as much as possible. Get some native Canadian friends to talk with, get ongoing feedback from them on your grammar and pronunciation to help improve. Improving English is very important for jobs. Toronto is full of people from around the world; employers don't care where you are from but care about your English speaking and writing skills for good communication.
Provide tips re: dealing with Canadian and Provincial Governments: taxes etc. All government forms are on the internet. Police etc.
