Expressions with baby or babe
这周的成语跟“baby”或“babe”有关。
1. a babe in the woods – to be innocent. He has no experience in business and trusts everyone. He’s like a babe in the woods.
[无知的,毫无经验的]——他没有经商的经验,总是相信所有人。他毫无经验。
2. like or as easy as taking candy from a baby – very easy. He earns lots of money but loses it all playing poker. Playing with him is like taking candy from a baby.

3. to baby - to treat someone like a baby, to pamper. That man doesn't seem to know how to do anything for himself. His wife treats him like a baby.

5. baby boomer/ baby boom generation – people born from just after WWII (1945) to the early 1960s. (sometimes just called ‘boomers’) Because there are so many baby boomers, there is a fear that there will be a shortage of workers in 10-20 years as they all retire.
