1.
End up with, 当老外们提到【最后】这个概念的时候，通常会用【end up with】而不用【finally】；e.g. How many pages did you end up with? 你的报告还剩几页？
2.
End up with, 也有【最后有什么样结果】的意思；e.g. If no one helps him, he may end up being a beggar. 如果没有人帮助他， 他最终可能会变成一个乞丐。所以，在很多地方用end up with 会比finally 来得更加道地。

Turn out, 【变成】,当我们讲【变成…】的时候最经常用的就是【become】，虽然这没有错，不过用【turnout】的话感觉会比较顺一点。E.g. That project turned out to be a big flop.那个计划变成一个大失败。
4.
Turn out 也经常在数学课上出现，E.g.If you multiply the first equation by 2, the two equations will turn out o beexactly the same. 如果你把第一个式子乘以2，这两个式子就会完全一样。
5.
Right after,【随后，马上】的意思。一般我们都会用【immediately】，虽然这个词挺好用的，但是遇到例如[我下一堂还有课],或[下一趟车随后就到]这样的句子的时候，用【immediately】的话似乎不太准确。所以应该是，I have another class right after this. 我下一堂还有课。 还有， There isanother bus right behind this one. 下一趟公车随后就到。
6.
Get through,【度过…困难的时刻】。通常见到度过某个困难的时刻，直觉反应会是用pass或者是overcome。但更多时候用get through 或是pass through 会更加好用。E.g. No matter what’s going to happen, we will get through this hardtime together. 不管再来会发生什么事，我们都要一起度过难关。
（*过去式为gotthrough,完成式为have been through。E.g. I’m so glad I have been through finals. 强调“已经”考完了。）
7.
Work out, 【解决问题】，讲到解决问题，老外除了用【solve】之外，work out 也是口袋单词之一。（*work out 这个词除了解决问题之外还有【作出调整】的意思。E.g. Let’s work out some plans for the holiday. 让我们为假期拟定一些计划。）
8.
Kick back,【报复】的意思，所以除了用【revenge】之外，【kick back】有木有更加生动形象。E.g. The United States decided to kick back after the incident. 事件发生后，美国决定要报复。（*Kick back还有relax的意思。E.g. Kick off your shoes and kick back for a while.脱掉你的鞋子，好好地放松一下自己。）
