这个is cheap stuff, you can get it in any grocery store, not worth your trouble to get spawn all the way from Hawaii. why not try shiitake, or lingzhi?

我后来又看了一下，花菇要至少6个月以后才出菇，1-2年后达高峰，灵芝大概更难一些，温度要25-30度才出菇。 看来东西贵是有道理的。
保持生菌木桩不受杂菌感染是关键。但1包有100个种，试种10次，即使失败9次有一次成功，就齐了。 回复云高天阔

They also sell books "mushroom cultivator" and give seminars to the mushroom farmers, I saw their seminars are already fully booked.
video showed they just put the log out side and water them from time to time.
I watched the video again, they plant the shiitake plug into the oak log, and have to wait for 6 month.

像他们商业种植成果当然是越多越好，天热每周都出菇。冷的地方只有3个月出菇，但质量好。北大荒的磨菇是有名的，那里比这还冷。如你不是商业性的不用温室，现在种上放在外面明年收菇吧。 你的鬼子姜不也是1年收一次吗 本帖最后由 XPD 于 2012-8-27 15:45 编辑

如你在这里种西红柿不考绿温湿度的话，种磨菇也不必考虑那么多。 你很少发现野生的西红柿在树林子里，但野生的磨菇却遍地都是。 只要得的合适的菌种，按指导的方法种下去，(nature will take care of it) 那就明年收菇吧。 回复爱艺术

温室里植物对个人来说大概比外面难一些，商业种植已经成续化了他们有设备，they are in business.
Whereas for individual, we are just using any space available to us to producing some fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and sprouts. I saw lots of people grown their vegetables this summer, but none had ever grown mushrooms, I am just adding my 2 cants to the growing group.
