Expressions with baby or babe
这周的成语跟“baby”或“babe”有关。

1.a babe in the woods – to be innocent.He has no experience in business and trusts everyone.He’s like a babe in the woods.
[无知的,毫无经验的]——他没有经商的经验,总是相信所有人。他毫无经验。

2.like or as easy as taking candy from a baby – very easy.   He earns lots of money but loses it all playing poker.Playing with him is like taking candy from a baby.
[轻而易举]——他赚了很多钱,但都输在了玩扑克上面。跟他玩扑克真是轻而易举。

3.to baby - to treat someone like a baby, to pamper.   That man doesn't seem to know how to do anything for himself.His wife treats him like a baby.

4.baby blue; baby blues – a soft, pale blue; eyes that have this colour.When she walked into the room, all the men noticed her beautiful baby blues.

5.baby boomer/ baby boom generation – people born from just after WWII (1945) to the early 1960s. (sometimes just called ‘boomers’)Because there are so many baby boomers, there is a fear that there will be a shortage of workers in 10-20 years as they all retire.
