I came to Canada without much higher expectation. I've created not bad life in China, but I feel boring. I came to Canada because I want to know what the life will look like when I'm living in North America.
So I didn't feel any disapponit so far. Here is the real Toronto, here is the real Canada. 4 months passed, I found I start like the country, like the city.
I don't like too much money, otherwise I will stay in China. Equally, I'd rather like the peaceful days.
In the world, complaining is just showing the weakness. Can you change the situation by complaining? You can't. Can you change what Canada like by blame it? You can't. The more you complaint, the more chance you cannot get the right life you want.
Why not try to conquer the country that you are hating by your intelligence, your outcome? Try to convince everybody that you treat this beautiful country as a piece of cake. After that, your voice of saying NO will be louder much.
I love China and I am pride that I'm a Chinese. That's why I' m demonstrating my ability to the Canadian, American, Indian whatever, that I am stronger than their imagination.
I totally agree with 毛毛. I keep studing and working hard everyday, not just after came to Canada. Never complain, cause nobody can handle your fate except yourself. I got job then like it. Eat all country's foods and enjoy those beautiful multi-culture. Demostrate a real Chinese and China to both Canadian and other friends. I like them and they like me as long as you corrected their misunderstanding of us. They like Chinese food very much as well as we can learn language with each other.
Don't say any blame word on China, you should take out those kind of political and goverment stuff from a pure China . We love a pure China because we are Chinese and our parents and brothers still in there.
