I just don't see how he continues governing w/o the support from the rest of the councilors.
I still believe Doug Holyday (who will inherit all Ford's policies) is better for the city of Toronto, with all the troubles Ford is facing.

Doug Holiday is the hope for many conservatives, and they are right about the sentiment that City of Toronto is too small a battlefield for Doug.
As for Rob Ford, as the Toronto Star columnist Royson James pointed out, since Ford is still backed by a large number of voters, a number large enough to win him the next election, he may very likely ride the storm out safely.
The truth is, the people of this city are sick and tired with all the bullshit business that the previous municipal NPDs and provincial liberals have brought them, to a point that they will stand still with anyone who is not an NDP or liberal.
If Ford stays, lefties will have no one to blame but their own messed-up track record. |
