only 8% RRSP utlized, it means canadians don't want to put their money in RRSP because they have CPP, old pension etc. warefare for the retirement life. If you have lots of RRSP money, you might not get these from Gov.

8% return, it's great! Where I can invest money in? Is it secured?

If most of the Canadians have enough CPP and OAS to support their low retirement income. That is OK. It is their lives. But for immigrants, they do not even have enough time to contribute to their CPP and live here long enough to qualify full OAS. And if they do not worry about retiring with no money. that is OK too. It is their lives. I'd just like to remind those who care.

By the way, Balanced fund normally has a expected return rate of about 8%.
