The precious metals are very volatile and high-risk investments. When you invest in precious metals you are looking for long term investment (over 10 years). If you really want precious metal in your portfolio, I recommend you to buy some mutual fund. (I have TD precious metals mutual fund) I personally recommend that the precious metals should not exceed more than 5% of your total portfolio's value. |
