建议未来的新版主取消限制讨论法轮功的规定，这条规定有妨害言论自由的嫌疑。

I disagree. This is  时事新闻, not a forum on religious activities. If the FLG followers want to post their activities, they should request for a separate forum so they can post all their activities there to their heart's content.

Since I write only in English, I don't know if my vote and opinion carry that much weight. But here it goes:

Being a fair minded person and even though I don't much agree with some of your opinions here, I was going to vote yes to give you a chance, thinking that you could be objective.  But a comment like this

I would like to think we all know that. I think people here are just having fun with him, that's all. Don't take some of the criticism (mine included) or approval too seriously. If he becomes 版主, all power to him. I certainly don't envy him.

My reply to that is -

Isn't democracy and freedom of speech great ?! You have the cake and you can also eat it as well! The new "版主" should do no such thing like you suggested or he would be lectured on suppressing the freedom of speech. Quick, someone pass me that two edged sword !

Unless you are an expert on the U.S. Constitution law, I would not ask people this question - "言论自由后面还有一句话，叫做言责自负，懂不懂?" Because the only sensible answer would be "不懂, 不懂".
