Dear Jianai,
Thank you for your comments. I have to agree with you that I am just a mediocre professor and researcher at least to own my standard. Nevertheless, I strive to emulate myself. If you also happen to work in the academic field, it would be a great pleasure for me to engage in academic discourse with you. I always think it is mutually beneficial to communicate with people from other disciplines. To this end, we, the immigrants from mainland China can always learn from one another.
I would be very appreciative if you can be more specific about any of my wrong-doings which make your feel shamed about. I trust I will correct them.
I don’t fell comfortable to reply individual comments in the public chat-room. I am equally reluctant to share my research and my University home pages here as it is not of any interest to others (even though you can find them through a simple website search).
Should you have any questions or advice to offer, please feel free to direct them to my personal e-mail account, which is [email protected]. This is first as well as the last time for me to respond personal-based comments toward me in the public place (I don’t have your e-mail). I appreciate your and others’ understanding.
To end this brief note, I would like to share three adages with you and others; I hope we all find them edifying.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world" -- Margaret Mead.
"The world shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage."
--Anais Nin
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
--Martin Luther King, Jr.
My best regards to you and your family; have a nice long weekend.
Sincerely yours,
Peizhong

Hi, Mr. Wong,
Just do your research and teaching, and stop doing such disgustiing thing to pollut the Chinese community.
I hope we would not shame on you again.
And to be honest, I suspect that you are a real qualified professor or researcher.
Take care and value your life and others' |
