I had same feeling as you before, after 2 years I changed. I love here now. Don't be so depressed. You will be fine. Believe in yourself, find a best way for yourself.
Be happy is the best thing for you. If you really don't like here, you still can go back where you worked before. If you were good, you still can have your job back anytime. I did have offer from the company I worked before when I went back for a short time visit. I just didn't want to give up at that time, even though I was really depressed at that time. I told myself " Good horse never eat the grass from the back."

You just need more time and more possitive attitude. Forget what you had before, forget who you were because you are nobody here. I thought I was such successful person before, how come no one would notice my skill here. I think you have to put yourself to the ground zero and start all over, then you will feel better.

Good ! You are right.we didn't feel anything that is good too.Even we got jobs,got two cars .We still suffer...You have to pay the house,the cars..never stop.plus I didn't feel how good the health care ( I works for a medical office)and how good the education( My kids go to top 10 element school).So,if you can't find a good job,go back to china as soon as possible,unless you have enough money that you can pay everything off,or you are a labor in china.

北大毕业的也可以卖肉，我认识很多自称是什么高工，什么IT专家，可连基本的技能都不具备，雇主当然不会用了，别说来加拿大，就是在国内你如果不是上海人，试一下去上海定居，看哪个更难些

我的大学同学都不是上海人啊，在上海过得也都不错。最多一年20万，最少的也有8万。
