有种莫名其妙的空虚感常常使我无法enjoy目前不是很差的生活。 :confused:

非我族類，其心必異 ,洋人的心不好交,交到某個境界,便會出現排斥作用。

星期一早上去辦公室打開電腦有一封E-Mail，由我的一個職員寄給我，說另一位同事將請病假最少兩個星期，因為一些感染，醫生要他「to be off his feet」，我看了之後以為他的腳要被切除，非常驚訝，因為上星期五他還走路好好的。

於是我馬上致電該職員查問。一問之下，才知道「to be off his feet」只是他暫時因腳感染細菌，所以醫生叫他「不要隨便下床走路」。

聽了說明之後，我才領悟其意。

感觉空虚是很多人都会有的，特别是人在异乡。想与人交心也不是件容易的事情，就是中国人和中国人都比较难，虽然在语言上是绝对无任何障碍的。。。。。更别说是和洋人了，有着相异的语言，文化背景和风俗习惯等等。

Vic Chu老师真的是英语和中文都相当厉害，本人没有半点檫鞋的意思，是真的很佩服您！耶希望今后能向您多学习，多交流！！

閣下太誇獎我了! 51 裏的網友中英文比我好的多着啦! 只是很多都深藏不露而已!

翻查過很多辭典,找不到引申暗喻,也未聽過!
